Managing Fields
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Custom Fields
- Choose the entity type
Entering Values
Custom field values appear in a dedicated tab on each detail page:
- Contacts → Custom Fields tab
- Inventory → Custom Fields tab
- Transactions → Custom Fields tab
Best Practices
- Use consistent naming across your team
- Keep names concise but descriptive
- Create fields for data you track on most records
- Mark customer-relevant inventory fields as Public
- Review and remove unused fields periodically
