Posts

Share articles, dealership news, reviews, stories, and legal pages on your storefront.

Posts help your dealership give shoppers more than an inventory list. Answer common questions, share updates, highlight vehicles, and keep important dealership pages on the same storefront.

Build trust with useful content

Use Posts to:

  • Announce new arrivals, events, and dealership news
  • Share buying guides and vehicle reviews
  • Place inventory cards inside an article
  • Publish dealership legal pages in the storefront footer
  • Add up to three selected post links to the storefront header

Every new post starts as a Draft, so you decide when it becomes public. Each post belongs to one dealership location.

Legal posts appear in the storefront footer. The other categories appear in Posts.

Review legal content separately

Choosing Legal controls where the page appears. DealerSpot does not confirm that the content meets your dealership's legal obligations or keep it current for you.

Write and design the post

The editor has two tabs:

  • General: Title, category, public page address, navigation title, summary, and featured image
  • Content: The article itself

In Content, you can format text, add headings and lists, insert links and images, add vehicle cards from Inventory, and import or export Markdown.

Publish with confidence

  1. Open Posts and select Add Post.
  2. Choose a dealership location if asked.
  3. Create the post and complete General.
  4. Write and format the article in Content.
  5. Save and check the title, page address, images, links, and location.
  6. Change the status from Draft to Published.

Published posts appear immediately. DealerSpot does not schedule posts or require a separate approval step, so your team controls its own review process.

Help shoppers find selected posts

Add a Navigation Title when a post should appear in the storefront header. The header displays up to three published posts with that option enabled.

Pinning works differently. Pin to sidebar adds a shared shortcut inside the DealerSpot dashboard. It does not feature the post on the public storefront.
