Vehicle Interests

Track which vehicles contacts are interested in

The Interest system links contacts to vehicles they're interested in, helping you track customer preferences and follow up effectively.

How Interests Work

When a contact expresses interest in a vehicle, you can link them together. This creates a two-way relationship visible from both the contact and vehicle detail pages.

Interests can be created in two ways:

From the Dashboard:

  1. Open a contact or vehicle
  2. Navigate to the interests section
  3. Add the related vehicle or contact

From the Storefront: When visitors browse your storefront, they can express interest in vehicles. If they later submit a contact form, their interests are automatically linked to their new contact record.

Viewing Interests

From a Contact

On a contact's detail page, you can see all vehicles they're interested in. This helps you understand their preferences and tailor your follow-up conversations.

From a Vehicle

On a vehicle's detail page, you can see all contacts who have expressed interest. This helps you prioritize outreach and understand which vehicles are generating the most attention.

Managing Interests

Adding Interests

Use Cases

Lead Follow-Up

When following up with a lead, review their interested vehicles to personalize your conversation. Reference specific vehicles they've shown interest in.

Inventory Decisions

Review which vehicles have the most interest to inform pricing and marketing decisions. High-interest vehicles may sell quickly; low-interest vehicles may need price adjustments or better photos.

Test Drive Scheduling

When scheduling test drives, use the interest list to suggest vehicles the contact has already shown interest in.

Best Practices

  • Regularly update interests based on customer conversations
  • Use interests to prioritize follow-up calls
  • Review interest patterns to understand market demand
  • Link interests when creating test-drive events
