Customize Your Storefront

Give each branch a consistent public identity with its own logo, banner, contact details, and website theme.

Set the branch name, address, contact details, and branding that shoppers see. Each branch can have its own website look and contact information.

Prerequisites

  • Use an Owner or Admin account.
  • The branch must already exist.
  • Prepare a logo and banner before you begin if you want branded images.

Open the branch settings

  1. Open Settings in the DealerSpot dashboard.
  2. Select Branches.
  3. If you have multiple branches, choose the branch near Branch Settings.
  4. Work through the branch sections on the page, then save each form you change.

Set the public branch identity

In Basic Details, enter the branch name and description. Then complete Address and Contact Information with the public information you want DealerSpot to use.

Supported contact fields include:

  • Primary, sales, and service phone numbers
  • Primary and sales email addresses
  • Facebook, Google, Instagram, and X links
  • Physical address

The branch page does not currently include fields for business hours, LinkedIn, or YouTube.

Upload the logo and banner

Scroll to Branding in the branch settings.

  1. Select Upload logo and choose an image.
  2. Select Upload banner and choose an image.
  3. Wait for each upload to finish before leaving the page.

DealerSpot accepts PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, and WebP images up to 5 MB. For the banner, the page recommends 1200 by 400 pixels.

To replace an image, upload a new one. To remove it, use the remove control on its preview.

Choose the website theme

In Website Theme, choose one of the available options:

ThemeStorefront behavior
LightUses the light color scheme
DarkUses the dark color scheme
SystemFollows the visitor's device preference

Save the form after changing the theme.

Use your logo and banner for your brand

Storefront colors and fonts cannot be changed. Choose Light, Dark, or System, then add your logo and banner.

Understand the contact widget

The storefront contact button lets shoppers call, text, or request a test drive. It is not live chat.

Keep the branch phone information current so call and text actions point shoppers to the right location.

Verify the result

  1. Open the branch storefront from DealerSpot.
  2. Check the header logo, homepage banner, branch name, and selected theme.
  3. Open Contact and verify the address and contact links.
  4. Check the storefront on both a narrow and wide screen.
  5. Test the contact button. Avoid sending a test form unless you want to keep the new contact.

Troubleshooting

An image will not upload

Confirm it is a supported image type and no larger than 5 MB. Try the upload again after the current upload finishes.

Changes appear on the wrong website

Return to Settings > Branches and confirm which branch is selected. Branding and contact information do not automatically copy between branches.

The theme did not change

Confirm you saved the website form. With System, the result depends on the device's current appearance setting.

A contact action is missing

Check that the selected branch has the corresponding phone or contact data in Contact Information.
