Editing Tips

Auto-Generated Titles

If you leave the title empty, it auto-generates from:

{Year} {Make} {Model}

For example: "2022 Toyota Camry"

Slug Generation

The URL slug auto-generates from the title. You can customize it, but it must be unique within your dealership.

Status Changes

  • Change to Listed when ready to display on storefront
  • Change to Draft to hide from storefront
  • Sold is set automatically when included in a completed transaction

Mileage Accuracy

For used vehicles, ensure mileage is accurate as it displays on your storefront and affects valuation.

AI-Powered Content

Generate vehicle descriptions using AI:

  1. Open a vehicle
  2. Click Generate next to the description field
  3. Review and edit the generated content
  4. Save changes

AI generation counts against your monthly AI request limit.

Add internal notes about a vehicle that are not visible to customers:

  1. Open the vehicle
  2. Navigate to the Notes section
  3. Click Add Note
  4. Enter your note content
  5. Save

Notes are visible only to your team members.
